The Health Department encourages those who are pregnant, those with newborns, and families with children under 5 years to head to to see if they qualify for membership. ![]() WIC members receive monthly benefits to purchase supplemental foods designed to meet the special nutritional needs of those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as infants and children. WIC members receive $20 in benefits per person, annually, that can be used to purchase eligible foods at participating farmers’ markets and roadside stands.Įligible foods that members can purchase with their FMNP benefits include fresh cut cooking herbs and fresh fruits and vegetables.
